Open Startup metrics

Let makers put their startup numbers right on their product page — MRR, revenue, visitors, and so on. Each metric is either pulled from a connected source (Stripe, Google Analytics, Search Console) or entered by hand, and we always show where a number came from, so verified and self-reported stay honest and easy to tell apart. In search and listings you'll be able to filter by source. This fits the "build in public" identity better than anything.

Rough phasing:

  1. The metrics framework + Stripe for verified MRR/revenue,

  2. Google Analytics for visitors

  3. Search Console for search

  4. Once enough makers share, an open-startup directory / verified-revenue leaderboard.

Worth doing carefully and in phases — holding makers' Stripe and analytics access is a real security responsibility.
