Get other makers writing in Stories
Stories is already open to anyone, so far I'm the only one writing in it. Once there's an audience, seed the first non-founder writers: invite makers to cross-post the build-in-public essays they're already writing elsewhere (the hook is an indexed page plus a backlink to their product), and nudge makers to "write the story behind this release" right after they ship. Holding this until there are actually people around, an empty community blog convinces no one.
